Seventeen tracks totaling over 75 minutes of Goth may be more than your psyche can take, but for real fans this collection is superb.
Many of the pioneer darkwave bands are represented here, such as Alien Sex Fiend with “Magic (Pyramid Mix)” and Virgin Prunes with “Ulakankulot.” Newer bands are here, too: Nosferatu giving us “The Gathering” and The Wake providing “Nazarene.” Big Electric Cat is represented by the title track from their Eyelash CD, which rated an A- from your Curmudgeon last November.
