New Bomb Turks

At Rope’s End

Epitaph

This is one of the non-punk bands in the Epitaph stable, but these guys would kick some ass whatever label they were on. Their scorching, full-tilt rock, at times reminiscent of the Blasters, makes the blood run hot in seconds. They just don’t let up, pounding the brain with high-octane riffs and chords dripping with fifties heritage. Make no mistake, though; these guys are nineties for sure, with their sights aimed directly on the millennium. The thirteen cuts on this disk will leave you breathless. Epitaph, 2798 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles CA 90026.
