Purrr

Pussy Power

In Heat

If it’s possible (and certainly it is) to capture an early 1990’s underground horror/sex comic book in song, Pussy Power is it. This six-song EP sends a message to everyone out there who owns a cat: beware of the Terminator Pussy. Well, I happen to like cats, and am not afraid of a rogue pussy! Purrr sounds like Pussy Galore, only with the instruments in tune and with next to zero pretension. It’s raw, haunting, fast, powerful and very feline. “Resurrection Mary,” “Armageddon On Me” and “Rosemary’s Baby” all reek of contempt for men, their government and civilization. You were warned.
