And Now the Rain Sounds Like Life is Falling Down Through It

Drunken Fish

If the title doesn’t tip you off to the complicated nature of this album, let me tell you this: Roy Montgomery paints with his guitar. Mostly instrumental soundscapes dominate this album, like Scenic in a more abstract mood. Montgomery’s guitar often shifts between lucid phrases and broad washes of sound and technique, and provides a very eloquent voice to this album. Some might find this boring; others realize that still waters run deep. Drunken Fish Records, P.O. Box 460640, San Francisco, CA 94146
