The Saboteurs

Espionage Garage

American Pop Project

Well, shit – the band sums it up pretty well in the album’s title. The Saboteurs are instrumental “surf” rock, if you need to know the bin to peruse at the mall, but their music carries more than the typical clichés associated with the genre. Even when it does (“Unabomber” sounds like a cross between “Pipeline” and “Walk Don’t Run”) it’s done with typical Canadian grace and style. I’m thinking Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet, folks. Classy. American Pop Project, P.O. Box 2271, San Rafael, CA 94912
