Streetbeat

Even if Street Beat’s packaging is overtly commercial, the music that you’ll find is actually quite good. Almost exclusively hardbreaks dedicated to beat junkies in search of that ever derivative groove. BCB isn’t exactly what the American market needs: another sample, loop, beat compilation of UK artists that aren’t the most widely embraced even in their own country. From a critics perspective there’s nothing wrong with the quality of production. It’s just that BCB doesn’t take any chances. I guess the boys in the marketing dept. really know their shit. Welcome to Breakbeat 101. Doesn’t anyone @ the labels want any of us to hear something a bit more challenging? Ever?
