Three Finger Cowboy

Kissed

Daemon

From the label that brought you the Ellen James Society, Rock-A-Teens, and Belloluna comes another winner, Three Finger Cowboy. Playing alterna-pop with just a hint of twang, they sound a lot like a southern Galaxie 500. Singer Katherine McElroy’s intriguing vocals and inventive lyrical approach breathes life into the band’s songs, accompanied by a strong, yet controlled guitar sound. One of the real joys of listening to Kissed is the oddball changes and hooks that keep the listener involved in the songs that are very accessible but anything but formula. Daemon Records, P.O.
