Rock to the Apocalypse

Habitual

Rock is right, and that’s probably the element that both strangely attracts me to this album and repels me at the same time. There’s something about this band that reminds me of the Police – most likely the similar eclectic, well-blended styles. The songs I love are soaked in grand pop melodies or mix in pop-punk, ska, and punk influences, but there are also the songs where the rock elements creep in much more than I care for and I find myself cringing. Still, the songs that are good on here are damn good. Well worth it in spite of my own personal anti-rock skip button factor. Habitual Records, 6619 S.
