Space-age old school electronica? Yeah, I think that pins down the style and sound, but Add N to X is better than it. Consisting of a trio with two guys and a noise-generating girl, I can’t help but scratch my head throughout the entire album. At times I feel like I am listening to the Moog Cookbook, and I’m very much liking it. The musical stylings are beautifully crafted to combine just the right amount of organic instrumentation, electronic beatings, and chaotic noise. Where did I go wrong in life? To think it took some friends of mine to get this gem into my house and life. So now I feel obligated to tell you. If you are at all interested in something that isn’t going to fit into your usual categorizations of electronic, you MUST try this one on for size.
