Galactic

Crazyhorse Mongoose

Capricorn

Back with the follow-up to Coolin’ Off, acid-jazz (swamp) funksters Galactic are poised for the national recognition they deserve with this major label release.

Recorded in a laid-back bayou style, incorporating more seventies funk infusion than Coolin’, you will find Crazyhorse to be delightfully raw and soulful. Theryl deClouet’s homegrown, experienced vocals maintain the funky mood as the rest of the band oozes the groove. “Change my Ways” and “Love on the Run” will surely make you a believer! The remainder of Crazyhorse Mongoose is made up of instrumental compositions, which leave no room for naysayers. You simply cannot overproduce pure talent doing what comes natural: jammin’… You are treated to a great mix of keyboards, bass, guitar, and horns. It’s kinda like getting the perfect batch of gumbo – juusst right!

Get on the Galactic tip – see why you should be bumpin’ to “Hamp’s Hump” and dancin’ a jig with “Tighten your Wig”… Cause it’s funky good baby! This release should be available at most retailers. If not, http://www.capri.corn.com

P.S. There is a hidden tune at the end of track #12 – just let it play until the silence turns golden Capricorn Records, 2205 State Street, Nashville, TN 37203
