Power Distribution System

Middle Atlantic Products

Mid Atlantic has two new rack mount power distribution and sequencing units that are built expressly for both studio and live sound reinforcement applications, as well as any system including sensitive effects, preamps and other components. The single rack space, 15-amp model PDS-615R ($560) provides six step, time-delayed sequencing to six rear outlets. Sequencing functions (sequence start, delay and interval) are adjustable according to user needs via a front panel control section, which includes an illuminated power switch/circuit breaker and a series of LED indicators for monitoring sequencing events. A remote up/down sequencing connection block is located on the rear panel, which allows multiple units to be chained together and controlled from a single remote. The PDS-2X315R ($611) houses the connection capabilities of two independent 15 amp circuits, each of which powers three outlets, and a switching capacity of 30 amps. The PDS-2X135R still only measures in at a one rack space size.

Mid Atlantic has also introduced some new acoustical wall panels designed to tame problematic areas in your main control or studio rooms and beginning at a price of $133. Available in a variety of sizes, the panels are also clean and modern appearing offering contemporary design as well as functionality. Middle Atlantic Products, Inc., North Corporate Drive, P.O.
