Transfixr

Tincture

NC17

Do you remember the days when Tad Doyle could sound pretty goddamn evil? Or when the Melvins were actually sinister? Half as uptight as Don Caballero, and twice as likely to get down in the dirt, Transfixr is further testament that Austin, Texas is home to some of the meanest sounds emitted in the last couple of decades. Definitely mean but still able to bust a stone cold groove – groovy in the sense where you thought Johnboy was a bit “groovier” than Helmet. And to think I was afraid we were all turning into Swing-dance pussies! http://www.kdi.com/~transfix/, transfixr@rocketmail.com
