Radical

Good, spastic, angry punk/core that’s loaded with informed, radical political philosophy. Right away, I was drawn to the song “Greenback,” with the astoundingly astute observation that “… What is right, if right is wrong?/ A ball of shit ruled by the strong… What is law, if law is wrong?” Then there’s “Keep Us Free,” a left-leaning anti-gun song (kiss my ass, you idiots), the pro-commie “Garrow,” and “200 Years,” that’s somewhat anti-American, but has a masterful statement that “… Two hundred years ago/ when [the USA] was made/It stood for something/ besides getting paid… “ That’s really profound if you think about it. But then again, 200 years ago “they” decided that the government wouldn’t prevent people from owning their own weapons…

Don’t get me wrong, fellows, I can dig your anti-establishment yet pro-establishment confused state since you’re from Berkeley (even if it’s Berkeley, Michigan), but most of what you’re singing about indicates a mad desire to be in charge of people because you know better than they do… I suppose if Hillary Clinton would write punk rock songs these would be hers…

OK, the music is definitely punk rock and good enough to satisfy the most nit-picking purists, and if you’re a leftist commie pinko punk rocker you’ll be all the more happy. Radical Records, 77 Bleeker Street, Suite C2-21, New York, NY 10012
