Stuttering John

Everybody’s Normal But Me

Razor & Tie

This is a surprisingly competent outing from the bumbling but lovable guy who does some of the unorthodox celebrity interviews for Howard Stern’s radio show. “Stuttering” John Melendez is very well-versed in classic rock, metal, and some of the more recent top 40 “alternative” sounds. Most of the songs are middle of the road musings about Melendez’s life problems, and his endless quest to try and have a good time, anyway. The songs range from up-tempo punky metal to slower, folksier rock tunes in the vein of Buffalo Tom. Although John is in no way an innovator in the music world, his songs are catchy enough to warrant plenty of airplay if the radio stations will give him a chance. Razor & Tie Music, P.O.
