Adjective City

Listening to this CD with headphones on, I feel like I’m the ball in an indie rock pinball game. SP’s instruments sort of bounce off each other. It’s this interplay that pretty much defines their sound.

For the most part SP’s songs maintain their cohesiveness, even though the band has a penchant for stuffing tons of changes into relatively short spaces. Think Polvo goes emo and you’ve got a pretty clear picture. Nothing groundbreaking really, but interesting enough, especially rhythmically.
