DSP360

Home Theatre Audio Processor

Sennheiser

Dove-tailing off the dramatic growth of entertainment technology are several new products geared towards the production and enjoyment of the 5.1 surround sound experience; especially for those who, because of space or cost considerations, aren’t considering buying a large surround-sound system. Sennheiser has recently announced the introduction of the DSP360 digital signal processor ($99.95), a device that converts the analog signals of televisions, audio receivers and VCRs into true Dolby® surround sound. The only requirement is a hi-fi stereo source and Dolby Surround-encoded source material. Insertion of the DSP360 into your audio system is simple and the user controls are easy to understand and operate. Features include the Toltec 3D processing system, which simulates a virtual five-channel loudspeaker configuration, speaker or headphone listening, and “automatic volume control,” which compensates for differences in source loudness by creating a more constant listening level. Sennheiser, 1 Enterprise Drive, P.O. Box 987, Old Lyme, CT 06371
