Just Wait ‘til We Get Our ‘Hanes on You!

Shrimper

Chaos is presented on gleeful terms, and recalls Ayler, Coleman, and others. Occasionally, patterns emerge briefly before the clattering of these spazzes reemerges and blasts any hope of a song. Tracks are pre-show swells of uncontrollable jitters, squawks, quacks, and unabashed nonsense. They’re trying to practice some songs before they go on, but they can see the awaiting crowd and damn are they getting nervous and anxious and full of adrenaline. Almost too much going on at once with no time to process what the hell’s happening, who’s playing what horn, whether I like it or not. I think I do, I think I do. I’m now repeating myself but you get the idea. Shrimper Records, P.O. Box 1837, Upland, CA 91785
