Dub Pistols

Point Blank

1500 Records

The Dub Pistols assume their position as leaders of the Big Beat/Dub ghetto. With their genius at full stance, Point Blank exercises loads of contagious grooves through layers of sweltering beats, drunken reverb and transglobular words. There is a grand sense of unity that is cleverly entwined through each and every track. This unification has some to do with beat, but mostly with urgency – the urgency that is synonymous with the urban jungle. Point Blank is just that… the smokin’ barrel of apathetic society aimed at your guts. This is a must for anyone interested in raising their consciousness of subcultures around them or anyone interested in a poignant piece of art. Germinate my friends!!! http://www.1500records.com
