The Farewell Bend

In Passing

Slowdime

Three members, two culled from Boy’s Life, plus the drummer from Giant’s Chair. The vocals are those of Boy’s Life, so that’s the comparison that comes to mind most often, but the music is more straightforward, and while still very emotional, less heartwrenchingly painful. The direction is different enough for the Farewell Bend not to be a shadow of their last bands and solid enough not to be a disappointment. Fluid melodies that stick in your head with a more direct approach yet enough sidesteps to keep it interesting. One of my favorites.
