dogma

As soon as I put this record on, I was transported to various scenes from John Hughes films. The scene where the kids are doing that goofy dancing after smoking a bunch of pot, or the scene where they are all running down the hall trying not to get caught for leaving the library in The Breakfast Club . The sound is basic ’80s English pop – lots of drum machines and keyboards, not much guitar. Sometimes the bass sounds like a poppier Cure, but the vocals ruin any hope of accessibility whatsoever. If you really need to hear something like this, go and buy the Pretty in Pink soundtrack.
