Limited Edition Infectious Electro-Industrial Compilation

SPV

This limited edition disc from Germany’s SPV Records is so superb, I dare say it is probably the best industrial compilation of all time. It does exactly what it should do. It does its job. It draws you in with exclusive and unreleased tracks by Wumpscut, Numb, Velvet Acid Christ, and Front-Line Assembly. Then it exposes you to bands you may not have previously heard. The Wumpscut track is devastating, as is the one by Covenant. I didn’t even think I liked Covenant until I heard their contribution “Luminal.” Now I can’t get enough of ‘em.

The tracks by VNV Nation, Individual Totem, and newcomers Mesh are incredible. Contributions by AR2T $ Pfusch, Stromkern, Suicide Commando, Click Click, and Pail are all outstanding surprises. You’ll want to purchase each of these artist’s discs, if you can get this one out of your player. All I can say is “Hurry!,” there are only 4,000 of these out there. Well, 3,999 at the most.
