Bonnie Prince Billy

One With The Birds 7”

Palace

I swear, Will Oldham has got some sort of nameophobia. From his self-titled releases, to the various Palace incarnations, to this… Will Oldham is the Bonnie Prince Billy. With some help from his brother Ned (who can be found under the name of the Anomoanon), Will gives us that indie country folk that makes men weep. He hasn’t changed his style, he hasn’t changed his sound, he’s true to himself and true to us. It’s those cynical heartbeats that drive the music and keeps us coming back for more, whatever his name may be.
