I am the Day of Current Taste

Tooth And Nail

This record starts out sounding very similar to Jawbox, without the heavy guitars. Some of the reason for the “Jawbox” sound could come from the fact that J. Robbins, former leader of Jawbox, produced it. They also have a little SDRE sound in the guitars. The forth song, “Cops Are My Best Customers,” sounds exactly like an old Jawbox song. Their eight songs come out sounding decent musically, but the singer completely ruins the record with his weak vocals. This band could be much better if they had a better vocalist.
