It sounds like the ghost of Lush has returned to Earth, and fully possessed a band named Velocette. Velocette contain just about all the elements that defined Lush to a legion of fans, from the gently sensual female vocals to the surprisingly swift guitar dynamics; I hesitate to call Velocette “derivative,” as they do bring in some interesting twists of their own, but if the shoe fits, then we have Cinderella here.
