Snooze

The Man in the Shadows

SSR/The Medicine Label/Tangerine

In the form of Snooze, class act Dominique Dalcan has elbowed his way ahead of my former French favorite, DJ Cam. Snooze captures the film noir essence of a David Lynch production groping the darker side of Portishead with the impropriety of a sultry vixen. Snooze does justice to the sterling reputations of Massive Attack and Horace Andy on the soul-stirring “Tribute To Horace.” Open your ears to an unreproachable symphony of smoldering jazz, hip hop beaks and good old French seduction.
