Back Catalog

Hi. Sorry to bother you with so insignificant a question but, when I try to access “back issues” [on www.ink19.com], I get “can’t access from this server ya-de-ya-da.”

So, my question: you reviewed a recording in April, I think – maybe March – named something like George Frontieri (emphasis on the “something like”). A breakbeat artist. I want to track down the recording, but before I can, I need to get the name right. Ring a bell?

Like I said, apologies for the trivial inquiry. And congratulations from a 45 year-old (ex-freeform FM DJ) on a damned fine publication. It’d be easy to do badly what you folks are doing well. Love the music reviews especially. And don’t feel bad if you don’t have time to track down my George F. I’ll keep reading regardless.

Julio Diaz responds: Your wish is our command! Full access to nearly every issue published over the last two-and-a-half years is now available at www.ink19.com. The closest I can find to the name you’ve mentioned is Chris Fortier’s Atmospherics: The Breaks , released on Street Beat Records and reviewed in April (but this is a real release – we promise!). Happy hunting, and thanks for the kind words!
