Buggin’ Out

Pretty fresh sound from a group that recalls any number of other bands. Bits of style from Deee-Lite, Beastie Boys, Gus Gus, and a whole bunch of De La Soul can be heard on the tracks, but somehow they pull it off and make a nice sound with a new identity. The samples and mixes are really nice and go well with the irreverent lyrics. The record was produced by the Dust Brothers, who have the ability to turn any old sound into something new and hip.
