Evil Swedish metal that’s camp to a fault. From a metal music point of view, I think these insane spore of a rabid Viking are giving tribute to Sepultura. Lyrically, well… It’s nuts! Who writes songs like “Born to Hate” and “Sweet Bride,” the former a mean-spirited indictment on warmongering, the latter being extremely sick (you ladies out there should protest), and then come up with “Godzilla is Coming Through” and “Evilizer”? It’d be funny if it weren’t for the heavy emphasis on death, destruction, mayhem, hate, bestial lust, etc. “Maggot Man” is pretty cool, too. More intense metal from Relapse and Sweden.
