OK. The CD booklet is packed with slightly varying pictures of Mats Oberg and Morgan Agren looking kinda confused, and trying to get dressed up. 12 pages of it, actually. The music on this disc ranges from the Disco Volante-like opening track, “Russian Lask,” to the goofy syncopated Theremin-sounding “Guardian Witch.” The track which stands out the most is the unbelievably thunderous “Ooo Baby Baby” which is also featured on Fredrik Thordendal’s Sol Niger CD. I am floored by their ability to legitimately execute everything from light jazz to super-human staggered 16th note hell to the most violent Pantera-like machine-gun groove to overly-complex synclavier Zappa music. The song “Trottsov” is demented, to say the least. It’s the kind of thing you don’t wanna wake up in the middle of the night and hear. This band can do everything; and it’s just two weird guys from Sweden. I kneel.
