Husking Bee

Put on Fresh Paint

Doghouse/Toy’s Factory

The Japanese, the Japanese! They play punk rock so well! Great pop-punk has been hard to come by lately, but Doghouse satiates us with this U.S. release of Husking Bee’s Put on Fresh Paint . This album was originally released in the land of the big red dot, and it did so well that Doghouse decided to release it here. Imagine a Japanese version of Sicko. I don’t think I could get these songs out of my head with a lobotomy. That’s right, these fellows are that good. They rock, all right? Husking Bee, please come play on our side of the Pacific!
