Radioflier

Two Twelve

It used to be that Gainesville was known as a punk rock town. I suppose it still is in some circles, but the mainstream popsters are forging a sort of post-Hootie acoustic-electric sound that I have actually heard described as the “Gainesville sound.” Radioflier is definitely in that family of bands (Sister Hazel being the most famous).

Good production, vocal harmonies, chimey guitars, introspective lyrics about life and love. You get the picture. The Cramps once put out an album called Bad Music for Bad People ; this 10-song CD is rather good music for good people. Nothing wrong with that.
