Don Caballero

Singles Breaking Up (Vol. 1)

Touch & Go

I got to see Don Caballero live in Orlando last year, and it was hard to avoid slipping from all of the puddles of drool on the floor. There was an all-star Florida indie rock cast in attendance, and their mouths were just as slack-jawed as mine. This is a ultra-tight ensemble playing instrumental math rock that rages, burns, and speaks volumes. Downright mind-boggling instrumentation, firmly based in the rock, in which the vocals are not missed. This is a collection of singles released over the years. Very recommended, as is their last full-length, What Burns Never Returns .
