At the Drive In

Vaya

Fearless

Sooper dooper performances are an every day occurrence to these crazy coyotes. They put some stuff in the El Paso water, I tell ya. Stuff. Go see them. Well, the music ain’t too bad neither. The type of music might be described as an aggressive emo but, don’t hurt me if you disagree. At the Drive In is often manic, pretty, and experimental all at the same time. This latest record is a little more on the strange side than past recordings, with some weird keyboard sounds and electronic thingers in there. Only 7 songs is disappointing (especially with all the experimenting), but there are still some fine conclusions on this record.
