Earthdance is a collection of trance and dance-oriented techno that includes such big names as Gus Gus, Fatboy Slim, Underworld, and Meat Beat Manifesto. Early in the album, high-energy dominates, including “Medicine Drum” by Skin Up and “The Freaks (Getting’ Tribal Mix)” by Oberzone. The album transitions from dance to trance when “Requiem” by Art of Trance and “Prayer for Peace” by Star Children leave you serenely floating on your own little fluffy white cloud.
