Angel Dust

Bleed

Century Media

Classic German power metal that’s been at it, on and off, since the mid-1980’s. Screaming, powerful melodic vocals, raging guitar riffs – you know: formula metal.

It’s the Scorpions meet Manowar: near-pop metal with crunching, driving guitars and outrageously intense lyrics. The title track is introduced with a few notes from a wobbly keyboard, then it descends into massive heavy metal pounding and, of course, the necessary lead breaks. “Black Rain,” “Temple of the King” and “Nightmare” add more fuel to the fire of metal thunder! That’s HEAVY METAL THUNDER! “Never” features some of the best, raging, spiraling crescendos of metal keyboards and guitars that I’ve heard all year! More true metal for the end of the millennium is what Bleed is! Do some Angel Dust, you metalheads!
