Linda Perry

After Hours

Rockstar

Linda Perry, the booming voice of one hit wonders 4 Non Blondes, has a new indie label solo album. After Hours is, in many ways, a come down from the radio and video saturation the 4 Non Blondes single “What’s Going On?” generated several years ago. This new record, though smaller in scope, seems to have a lot of heart. Perry sings the typical broken heart love songs in her own inimitable style, as well as one oddly out of place but effective Christian spiritual song, “New Dawn”. I don’t see this record garnering too many new fans, but should please Linda Perry’s existing fan base.
