Feaze

Morning Wood

Mud

Every fiber of my being tells me to hate this band, but the more I listen to Feaze, the more I like them. Sure, it’s just throwaway college rock, but these girls really sell it. From the opening harmonies of “Sally” though the wonderfully titled “Oh, Good Lordy it’s Raining Alcohol,” Feaze makes their songs work. Feaze is the project of three girls from Urbana, Illinois with a solid upbringing with Olympia, Washington’s music scene. They have just enough cute to pull you in and just enough punk edge to be taken seriously. Morning Wood has a nice future as a party CD, and Feaze would be a fun band to party with.
