Little Darla Has a Treat For You

Volume 13

Darla

Little Darla, bless her heart, scours the darkest crannies of the music world, looking for uncategorizable artists that would otherwise go unnoticed. Since the series doesn’t appear to be a self-serving vehicle for label acts (usually less than a quarter of the songs are from Darla bands), it’s free to explore and present what catches their ear.

This outing, we hear tracks from Lali Puna (minimalist, female vocalist), The Sensualists (darkly seductive dance), Gnac (spy film music), Able (sweet country rock from Sweden), Micromars (microtonal, actually), and much more, a tantalizing taste of diversity. Use it wisely.
