Luke Vibert / B. J. Cole

Stop The Panic

Astralwerks

Steel guitar guru B.J. Cole yearned for a creative union between his eclectic musings and that of a DJ interested in something different. Divine powers pulled him towards Plug’s Luke Vibert and propelled these two lucent stars over the edge. Stop The Panic is grandiose in adventure and spastic with enthusiasm. The outcome is a cohesive collection of culturally diverse influences all stuck together with Cole’s ambitious steel guitar and given a heartbeat through Vibert’s knob tweaking. I have a feeling on some way cool island off the Pacific Rim, there’s a cosmic luau in motion, and this happens to be the music of choice!
