Teenagers Film Their Own Life

Third Gear

Valvola is an Italian trio, and while Teenagers Film Their Own Life is a reissue from 1996, the mood of the album seems to stretch back much, much farther back. Utilizing the finest in antiquated analog technology, Valvola produce a sound that is equal parts Spaceman 3 and Scenic – vast landscapes of moody space rock, the kind of music you want playing in your spacesuit on your first spacewalk. Oscillators, Eko guitars, distant vocal crooning… prepare to adjust orbits.
