Fingernail

Versions

Fuzzy Box/Darla

Versions is comprised of remixes of Fingernail songs by thirteen artists. Some tracks are filled with lullingly rhythmic keyboard atmospheres with ethereal textures that surge and crest, while others have some vintage keyboard melodies skittering about pleasantly. The focus is on the golden, shimmering environments created. There are some beats here and there, some with a groove, some broken and scattered, but this seems more of an at-home record than a record for the dance floor. And that’s a good thing.
