And All the Colors˙
Austin, Texas-based Ian Moore pulls out all the stops on And All the Colors . This is a hard-rocking, bluesy effort similar to recent records by Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Jonny Lang, but with more of a rock-and-roll edge. Moore’s style displays a range of influences from 70’s soul and R&B artists like Stevie Wonder to arena rock gods like Led Zeppelin. Moore showcases his diversity throughout the album, switching from his sweet, crooning falsetto on “Fickle” to straight-ahead rock on “Float Away.” Moore isn’t afraid to experiment with different styles on And All the Colors , and that’s just fine, because he does them all equally well.
