2 more major label baby bands, huh? The songs are catchier than I expected. The vocals are stronger than I expected. These are all-around fine efforts. Distinctive? Well I can’t seem to differentiate very many post-(?) alt-rock bands these days, but maybe I should blame radio programmers for leaving no room to promote the band. Or maybe the labels are guilty of placing the cookie cutters directly into their hands in an effort to promote one single instead of a band’s career. In any case, you could do a lot worse than these 2 groups. Maybe you’ll even hear one (but probably only one) of their songs on the radio soon.
