Boy Sets Fire

After The Eulogy

Victory

A lot of Boy Sets Fire fans are going to be upset with this one. Yep, it’s on Victory, the home of tough guy hardcore, basketball jerseys, closed minds, and violence. Everything BSF is against? You decide. Another let down is that BSF seems to have run out of ideas and the result is generic sounding hardcore. The BSF style of slightly metally/quirky hardcore is barely evident on this record, and when it shines through, it merely sounds like a rehash of one of their old songs. The great political lyrics and nice packaging are there, but no content.
