Jurassic 5

Quality Control

Interscope

The left coast’s favorite old-school aficionados, Jurassic 5 return with a new 2 song EP to give the masses a little taste of what they have in store for their overdue debut LP. The title track, “Quality Control” is a typical J5 track – upbeat, bouncy beats by Cut Chemist, and plenty of harmonizing, group rhyming, and trading lines, while “Twelve” is on the same tip as the aforementioned, but a little more lyrical and has more of a straight forward hip-hop vibe. Jurassic 5 once again proves how much fun hip-hop can truly be.
