Burning Heart/Epitaph

Skatepunk from Sweden’s answer to all those interchangeable SoCal bands, flown to Hollywood for recording, and produced by Mr. Brett himself. Result: Swedes who sound exactly like all those interchangeable SoCal bands. Hmm, why bother. Although the concept of a love song to a motor scooter (“Fox”) is momentarily humorous, this stuff – while perfectly executed, especially in the soaring harmonies department – fails to excite me in the slightest. High points, however, for the most poorly-done 70’s-inspired cover painting I have ever seen (and I’m old enough to be your dad, kid).
