Folk Songs For Trains, Trees and Honey

Hefty

Very organic-sounding electronic excursions that owe as much to the manipulated clicks and noises as they do to the pleasant grooves and beats. Digital debris is used sparingly, like a good spice, marrying odd intrigue to the sweet rhythms and melodies. Sounds shiver and crackle across lilting swoons and gentle guitars, cutting out for found sounds and teasingly near-silent static sputterings. Amidst all the fascinating elements the song is never forgotten, and that’s what keeps me coming back.
