Travis

The Man Who

Epic

Following in the footsteps of the Brit-pop icons Oasis, Travis deliver the goods with The Man Who. The most Oasis-like songs have a strong beat and heavy guitar presence, such as “Writing to Reach You” and “Why Does it Always Rain on Me?” The meat of the album, however, is much more melancholy, resembling Radiohead’s OK Computer without the psychedelics. Subject matter on The Man Who focuses on life, sadness and relationships. There’s not a bad song on this album, and if it catches on, the Adult Alternative charts may soon be filled with the name Travis.
