Christine Fellows

2 Little Birds

Endearing

You remember the little figurines in your Grandmother’s house you really wanted to play with, but they were too fragile and delicate? That’s how I feel about Christine Fellows’ 2 Little Birds. I really want to embrace her music, but it’s so delicate, so soft, that it makes it a bit difficult to love fully. Still it’s a wonderfully enchanting record.

The fact that the band Slaves to Sirens exists is impressive, but that they live, love, and breathe to play metal takes things to another level. Sirens documents the journey. Review by Charles DJ Deppner.
