Parker Paul
Lemon Lime Room

Parker is armed with a piano and the naively optimistic self-assurance that pop songs will save his soul and win hearts of all the other freaks, nerds, dungeon masters, clarinet players, pimply, greasy-haired dirt bike bandits, kids with band uniforms from last year that are stretched way beyond their frail frame, and the entire sub-population of keen-minded, soft-spoken laborers who either resist the fact or are completely oblivious of the fact that pink just might be the new black. If this album falls into the right hands, then Parker Paul’s lyrics are about to find themselves printed on the very pages of all those high school underground newspapers devoted to the inanity of They Might Be Giants. This could very well be another geek hero in the making, as promising as such visionary heroes as the Tick or John Paul Sartre. And for good measure, he throws in a Silver Jews cover to knock your ass off balance a bit.
